Job Description Qualifications Degree in Business or Engineering Preferably Member of RICS or similar. Experience & Skills (General) 11 years experience in EPC Oil & Gas projects (including offshore pipelines) with the last 2 years in a Senior position. Different Contract types with emphasis on EPC projects Managing Quantity Surveying, Contract Administration and Cost Control functions of a Major EPC project. Leadership and supervision of assigned team of QSs and CAs. Negotiation, communucation, letter & report writing, analytical reviews, presentation, etc. Offshore & Onshore projects - construction of refineries, platforms and pipelines. Computer literate; familiar with software and systems for data handling and report generation. Fluent in written and spoken English. Good understanding of technical scope and issues in order to identify or verify changes. Excellent knowledge of contract/subcontracts and the application of the various terms and conditions. . Provides correct and valuable advice to the the project team in order to manage rights and obligations. Drafting commercial correspondence to clients, subcontractors and suppliers. Analyse project performance/delays and maintain necessary records for possible time extension claim. Claims including preparation, negotiation and defence against counter claims and claims submitted by Subcontractors. Contract Manager ,20 - 25 years exp , Muscat

Role:-
Single point responsible and accountable for the management and execution of all aspects of the Service to ensure quality deliverables, on time and within agreed costs. Designated as Contract ManagerIn terms of Company Contract Holdership Scheme. He/she shall report directly to the Joint Venture executive management board.

Qualification requirement
Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Eng.) and membership of internationally accepted applicable professional Institute.
Post Graduate Degree in engineering management is strongly preferred.
Experience level needed
Shall have a minimum of 20 years relevant work experience, 5 years of which shall have been in a managerial position in a similar Integrated Service Contract.Shall have proven successful experience in all aspects of project development
management and general management.

General Requirement

Authority Accountabilities and Responsibilities
As the Contractor's prime representative to the Contract, and possibly the prime representative in Oman, the Contract Manager's accountabilities, responsibilities and authorities shall be clearly defined by the Contractor, but shall as a minimum allow him to manage the Contractor's office in Muscat in full compliance with this Contract.
Create and foster a culture of continuousimprovement in Contract's organisation.
Foster culture of partnership and co-operation with Company. Closely monitor mobilisation and transition periodsto ensure smooth uptake Screen / Endorse employment of all Key Personnel and Core Personnel under the Contract.
Custodian of all Management Systems and processes, ensure all are kept current.
Contractor leadership in HSE performance.

Contract Manager ,25 - 30 years exp , Muscat

Education:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Project Management
Experience:
25 years related experience and minimum 15 years experience in
contract management and control of multidiscipline construction
contracts.
Proven experience in managing high value construction contracts (i.e., US $ 50 million)
Good knowledge of Shell or other international Oil company
specifications.
Gulf experience preferred
Experience in managing multiple subcontractors with high value
subcontracts. (minimum US $0.5mil)
Oman Oil & Gas Field -
Experience in Oman with Shell / PDO is highly preferred.
Language ability:

Job Description / Responsibilities
Based at HO, oversee and manage the contract ensuring project performance is meeting or exceeding client and company expectations
Reports to Division Manager.
Shall be the focal point to client, interact with client, attend Progress meetings and Safety meetings.
Lead, direct and monitor team of planning, HSE, QAQC and Procurement Managers, Construction managers and site team and other staff as applicable.
Optimize resources and expedite project delivery in line with project schedule.
Lead the development and implementation of company and departmental process
