Job Description • Manage applications related to Core Banking & Insurance systems viz. Banking, Cards, Treasury, Insurance systems & Customer touch-points viz. front-end Channels, across all the core systems.
• Understand system architecture & design, and operational modeling based on system architecture.
• Lead a team of unit managers responsible for various Technology solutions for Banking & Insurance domains across all customer interfaces.
• Develop and manage the “Change the Bank” (CTB) portfolio (enhancements to the current systems) and relevant delivery program for Core Technology solutions in the Banking & Insurance domains.
• Develop and manage application technology budgets for the support activities involving the Banking & Insurance systems.
• Ensure Disaster Recovery Systems are in place for all the business critical applications across all the Applications systems in Production.
• Vendor Management for all the core systems with priority focus on Support, Maintenance & enhancements.
• Manage and Mitigate risks related to technology solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ OUTPUT EXPECTED
1 Manage career development, work allocation and supervision of Application Systems team.
3 Deliver the CTB program involving Application systems enhancements across Banking & Insurance domains under Production Management
4 Manage costs within agreed budgets for the department
5 Ensure optimum utilization of investments related to Banking Technology.
6 Provide guidance and ensure smooth operation of the technology solutions deployed in the Bank.
7 Manage risks and issues related to Banking & Insurance Technology.
8 Manage software vendors and regular release/ enhancements roll-out.
