1.Provide technical assistance and support for servicing of rotating equipment (Major and Minor overhauls) used by Equipment OEM / Service providers, Maintenance Contracts. Ensure safe and reliable operations of process units / Refinery.
2. Supervise fabrication and construction of modifications for all types of rotating equipment (and support systems) as approved via the change management system or project processes.
3.Coordinate and review data from the performance monitoring programs for rotating equipment, such as vibration analysis, thermo-graphic surveys, and oil sampling.
4. As instructed by the Rotating Equipment Engineers, assist in improving rotating equipment reliability and availability through implementation of reliability engineering principles, techniques and tools.
5.Work with the Maintenance staff to implement rotating equipment maintenance and reliability strategies.
6. Participate in investigations into rotating equipment failures or incidents to identify root causes. Assist in preparing reports documenting the failure, cause and preferred solution by which similar failures or incidents may be prevented.
7.Participate actively in the continuous improvement process, via the elimination of bad actors in terms of reliability and performance of rotating equipment (costs, MTBF and repetitive failures).
8. Perform regular audits to ensure spare parts condition / preservation is assured, stock levels are maintained and obsolete equipment are removed. Pay particular attention to critical rotating elements.
9.Ensure full compliance with health and safety and environmental policies and regulations at all times.
10. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer.
