The ideal candidate should be between 50 to 55 years of age. Should have qualification of Chief Engineer Class-1 (Foreign Going), ISM certified/ CSO certified.
Sea Experience : Min 5 years as Chief Engineer serving on FG vessels of Min 10,000 BHP, trading world wide.
Shore Experience : Min 5 years as Tech or Marine Superintendent in any reputed ship management company
Additional Information:
Candidate should be :
Professionally and physically fit to sail as C. Eng onboard old/aged Bulk Carriers.
Technically sound and having proven successful track record being tech/marine super.
Confident/Competent to handle the complete technical requirements of our fleet crafts while sitting in the head Office, which includes but not limited to implementing and monitoring the ISM / ISPS requirements.
Aware of planned maintenance system. Requisition, Inventory control and Replenishing system for spares and consumable stores.
Can handle independently all survey/certification matters relating to classification society and flag state.
Act as CSO and DPA of the company.
Aware of various means in reducing / optimizing daily operating cost DOCs of the vessel without effecting the normal operation and commercial patterns.
Must be Computer literate and can handle his entire communication and reporting, independently.
Required for an International company as TECHNICAL SUPREINTENDENT for the Marine Department in Kuwait.
