Job Description Responsible for goods received vide LPO, local purchase or return from sites/factory.
Responsible for ensuring the correctness of quantity and quality, to notify the Manager, regarding any defective or unacceptable material supplied.
He shall also collect the list of materials that are required for the upcoming jobs from the Joinery incharge and prepare the requisition form to enable purchases on time. Responsible for the correct documentation of all such material, as well as material issues and statements related to each stock item.
Shall maintain the computerised stock register without backlogs at all times.
Responsible for creating stock codes, as well as maintaining the same.
Responsible for preparation of delivery notes for material, finished products etc. He shall also be responsible for the vehicle movement, instant traceability of all vehicles and the scheduling of delivery of material etc to sites.
He is also to call for quotations for material and services that are required and forward to the manager for further necessary action.
