To perform fire-fighting, accident & fire prevention, gate control duties and Station equipment maintenance.
BACKGROUND:
Reports to Fire & Security Shift Supervisor and receives work direction from him, within defined company Health, Safety and Environment directives.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Carry out fire fighting as required by using fire fighting equipment and reporting any fire hazards.
• Participate in fire fighting training exercises and drills.
• Comply with all company Health, Safety and Environment as well as Work Permit, policies and procedures.
• Check, maintain and operate a variety of security and fire fighting equipment.
• Carry out accident and fire prevention duties.
• Check work sites for safe working conditions and report to supervisor any potential fire hazards.
• Perform gate control duties and register all movements of vehicles, personnel and material.
• Issue visitors’ passes and ensure proper PPE is issued to personnel entering in the plant.
• Report violations of security, site traffic rules and suspicious findings/observations or unusual/abnormal occurrences.
• Perform fire station housekeeping duties.
• Perform fire station equipment maintenance tasks.
• Give advice and assistance to any authority/visitors and direct them to their desired locations.
• Provide instruction to meet Competency Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization.
