Identify problems and objectives of business activities including document, workflow and knowledge management needs of the company. Determine new procedures and technological solutions to meet business objectives and improve performance. Productivity and security. Deploy applications on the web which can be accessed through the Internet / Intranet / Extranet. Manage, coordinate and/or control the quality of development and/or implementing of approved information systems projects. Assist users in implementing systems, review user utilization and propose enhancements (if necessary). Directs consultants, functional groups and/or subordinates in their assignments to ensure adherence to company policy and standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Gathers Information, conducts Interviews, analyzes and documents current systems and identifies problems and need to current system.
• Introduces new procedures and technological solutions in order to meet business objectives. Introduces feasibility study and business impact study of these changes. Designs data storage, user interface and application logic and date migration process. Keeps abreast of and evaluates latest technology in information systems for possible adoption.
• Designs GUI Interface and develops Web application and integration with Relational Database (Oracle/MSSQL)
• Analyzes impact of EDMS and web applications on client business environment to determine most effective means for meeting clients’ objectives.
• Supports the developers during development process. Assures consistency between analysis, design and developed applications. Develops and/or guides application test procedure.
• Plans and/or coordinates system installation. Introduces procedure to shift to new system. Assists is user training. Reviews user utilization from new system and proposes enhancement.
• Participates in development and checking contracts related to information systems and comments as appropriate.
• Participates in preparing the budget based on requirements to meet business activities and proposed solutions.
• Develops related policies and procedure to ensure tight correspondence and harmony between the business processes and needs all the information technology systems processes.
• Defines and provides direction for work, studies performed by external consultants
• Supervises and guide analysts / programmers
• Plans systems implementation
