Job Description a. Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with
senior management and stakeholders.
b. Lead the initiation, planning, implementation and closing out of assigned telecommunication
projects (microwave, radio, public address, CCTV, SMATV, VSAT, Wimax, SOH multiplexers and
fiber-optic systems).
c. Prepare detailed Scope of Work (FEED) for telecommunication Projects and identify applicable
engineering Standards.
d. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones in order to accomplish goals within constraints
such as time, cost, and agreed quality standards
e. Liaise with project stakeholders on an regular basis throughout execution of projects.
f. Review engineering reports, procedures and drawings for new systems.
g. Perform regular site visits for collecting data and supervising Contractors during work
implementation.
h. Monitor progress towards project targets and prepare periodic progress reports and summaries for
management.
i. Coordinate and liaise with governmental departments such as Telecommunication Regulatory
Authority (TRA) for assignment of frequencies and investigations related to radio frequency
interference and Critical National Infrastructure Authority (CNIA) for ensuring facilitating their works
at sites and ensuring non-conflict between teams.
j. Coordinate with local service providers for required public services at sites, including the required
upgrade and enhancements.
k. Initiate and participate in investigations related to radio frequency interference. Propose technical
solutions to such problems for review and discussion with complainant.
I. Participate in training activities for Developees. Review comments made by trainees and discuss
future requirements with Telecom Team Leader.
