Job Description a. Carry out repair and testing activities of telecommunication equipment down to component level
(microwave, radio, public address, CCTV and multiplexers).
b. Ability to read and understand circuit diagrams for trouble shooting.
c. Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with recommended standards.
d. Participate in the development of maintenance and repair procedures for all types of
telecommunication systems. Initiate and discuss improvements and present recommendations for
such amendments to Telecom Sub-Team Leader.
e. Coordinate the work activities of vendors performing external repairs through Service Orders.
Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with ZADCO requirements.
f. Carry out technical acceptance testing of new telecommunication equipment prior to dispatch to
sites. Ensure that the equipment meets the required specifications.
g. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of telecommunication facilities in ZADCO HQ,
onshore and offshore sites, rigs, barges and vessels to ensure their continued availability and high
performance.
h. Perform timely corrective maintenance service covering telecommunication equipment at HQ,
Mussafah, Umm AI Dalkh and Arzanah Island, Rigs, Barges and Vessels.
i. Participate in training activities for Developees. Review comments made by trainees and discuss
future requirements with Telecom Team Leader
