Specific Duties - Seismologist:
Seismologist shall perform the following WORK in addition to the
WORK duties specified in this Schedule
1. Review and approve instrument and equipment acceptance tests
prior to survey commence.
2. Quality control all geophysical data, which shall include, but not be
limited to, acquisition parameters, testing and field processing.
3. Monitor and verify any chargeable lost time per Geophysical
Contract specification.
4. Ensure that all seismic programs are properly scouted and that
seismic lines are property located.
5. In case of explosives usage, monitor that all control, security, and
safety regulations are adhered to, and that accurate and complete
explosive inventories and reports are submitted to SAUDI
ARAMCO as required, in case of Land and Transition Zone
Acquisition.
6. Follow up, witness and quality control VSP acquisition and verify
Invoices.
7. Monitor, Quality Control and verify Uphole Surveys.
h. Ensure that all arrays are properly flagged and laid out and the
geophones are well planted, in case of Land and Transition Zone
Acquisition.
8. Assist with terrain type verification, as requested by SAUDI
ARAMCO, in case of Land and Transition Zone Acquisition.
