Sales Assistant,(2 - 3 yrs.),Abu Dhabi - United Arab Emirates

Job Summary : Responsible for providing administrative support to the sales department

Key Performance Area 1: Business Performance
• Maintain updated price list
• Prepare estimates
• Prepare quotation on NAV
• Prepare Performa invoice using NAV
• Keep track of records & sales
• Taking, progressing & monitoring orders
• Prepare tender documents
• Minimum lighting design (must be reviewed and approved by Division Manager) selections of light fittings based on specifications and be able to propose alternative fittings.
• Generate sales orders based on LPO
• Prepare timely paperwork to generate technical submittals
• Prepare principal-wise project report
• Maintain files and perform routine filing
• Provide “pending sales order report” from SAP on monthly basis
• Prepare “project report” for monthly sales meeting
• Awareness of industry trends & competitive products in order to strategically identify & target sales opportunities
• Keep records of sales targets & actual figures & compile them into actual figures for management

Key performance Area 2: Customer Focus
• Record and maintain computerized client/ customer d atabase
• Reliably handle all office communications, including letters, fax and email messages
• Maintain customer records
• Respond to queries and follow up sales enquiries, sample request, meeting, site visit, technical clarifications & submittal
• Arranging sample boards for projects

Key performance Area 3: People Development and Team Work
• Coordinate and follow up with stores for delivery of materials
• Establish & submit delivery schedule to client upon official sales order
• Establish and maintain effective working re lationships with team at all levels
• Coordinate with design team for designated projects. Deadline orientated on all design works
• Assist and participate enthusiastically in all official activities
• Provide administrative support to Senior Sales Engineers/Sales Engineers
• Other duties as assigned

Key performance Area 4: Quality
• Ensure that company format, procedures and policies are followed
• Ensure that ISO procedures and requirements are complied with
• Ensure all data & filings are kept in systematic order
• Adhere to the company’s health and safety standards
