Desired Profile (Man Specifications) Degree preferably in Electronics with a degree/diploma in Marketing from a well-regarded institution.
Should have experience of 12-15 years in Sales and Marketing in a related industry i.e. consumer electronics Of this, at least 3 years should have been as head of Sales.
Previous work experience in the UAE/GCC and Africa Markets would be strongly preferred. Exposure to other international markets would also be an advantage.
Effective interpersonal, influencing and communicating skills - Good communication skills in English
Leadership and team management skills ability to motivate and enthuse others and strong selling skills are a pre-requisite.
Job Description (Responsibility)Overall responsibility for delivering sales and revenue growth, and meeting gross margin targets for the Consumer Electronics.
Responsible for managing the sales operations of the core business in the GCC and Middle East African market, through company showrooms, overseas branches, dealers, distributors and direct sales.
Design strategies and plans for development of new markets and segments and oversee the smooth implementation of these, through effective management of the sales department staff.
Dealing with the supply chain and with OEMs from countries such as China and Korea.
