Job Description • Ensure that the work carried out complies with International Construction Codes, Project Specifications, Tender, Work Instructions, Procedure and Manuals, as appropriate.
• Perform in-process and final inspections on electrical & instrumentation jobs in Shop and Onboard.
• Participation in work identification.
• Attend daily onboard meeting.
• Coordinate and liaise with Classification societies, Third party inspection agencies, Ship Superintendents and other Trades, to ensure adherence to related Standards.
• Stop processes if they do not meet specified requirements, raise Occurrence Reports / Fields Reports recommend for corrective and preventive actions.
• Collecting, updating and filing all relevant inspections records.
• Perform NDT as required
• Conduct frequent audits and report any non-compliance to the Superiors on issues of Quality.
