Profile Thorough knowledge of the principles of thermodynamics as applied to Industrial Refrigeration, prevailing international specifications, attention to details, use of design software of leading manufacturers and refrigeration related hardware (compressors; evaporators; condensers, etc), performance of insulating materials when applied to design of all elements of Cold Chain system, application of design skills to translate to cost effective product selection, awareness of latest trends in refrigeration design and product selection to meet optimum performance parameters and performance characteristics.
Should be familiar with temperature controlled storage in a variety of temperature range, AutoCAD operations, ammonia / glycol / CO2 / cascade refrigerants, M & E related calculations and specifications.
Desirable: Experience in the Gulf countries. Licensed engineer certified by Dubai Municipality and Abu Dhabi Municipality for structural design will have an advantage.
