A Government-owned leading shipyard in the world with large dry docks and workshop facilities requires:

FOREMAN - SR. MAINTENANCE

Overall responsibilities:
Ensure that Services equipments are maintained effectively and on schedule.

Job profile:
-Ensure that all scheduled maintenance is carried out on time.
-Oversee repair of Services equipment both mobile and fixed, as required.
-Develop new methods of supplying services and fabricate prototypes.
-Ensure all safety requirements are strictly adhered to.
-Ensure that the Safety, Quality & Environment requirements of the yard are strictly followed.
-Perform other job related duties as assigned by the section head.

Preferred Competencies:
-A recognized qualification in Electrical Engineering (up to 600 volts)
-Mechanical engineering knowledge would be an advantage.
-Knowledge of I.E.E. regulations (or equivalent).
-Good written and spoken English.
-Previous maintenance experience would be an advantage.
