A Government-owned leading shipyard in the world with large dry docks and workshop facilities requires:

INSULATOR

Overall responsibilities:
Responsible for undertaking insulation work on the ships or any other designated areas as deemed.

Job profile:
-Undertaking all insulation work on the ships or any designated areas.
-Marking, grinding and pin welding
-Installation of insulation on bulkhead and deck head, pipes and other units.
-Fabrication and Installation of lagging pads.
-To follow the necessary work instructions, DPM, Risk Assessment and Safety reports before commencing the job.
-Ensure that the Safety, Quality & Environment requirements of the yard are strictly followed.
-Perform other job related duties as assigned by the section head.

Preferred Competencies:
-5 years experience as Insulator with a good knowledge of all kinds of insulation work.
-Must be familiar with the various types of insulation materials, and should have a marine background.
-Must be able to work independently or under direct supervision.
-Working knowledge of the English language is a requirement.
-Age below 35 years.
