Job Summary
Reporting to General Manager for preparation of estimation, tender documentation
and negotiation of contracts. Responsible for smooth execution of contracts.
Exploring new areas and promoting business opportunities.
Assessing and allocating resources with regard to men and equipment.
Coordinating closely with Area Manager for all contracts; liaison with client
representatives regarding ongoing jobs at various locations throughout
the Sultanate of Oman.
Monitoring the income and expenditure of ongoing jobs and reporting to General Manager.
Emphasizing cost control and cost effectiveness in the contract.
As a whole, leading the contract to the satisfaction of client and maintaining it as a profit center.
Co-ordination of HSE issues and monitoring of Safety activities being followed at Work Sites.
Attending management HSE meetings, maintaining up to date information on Contracts performance, provide clients' feed back.
Human Resources Development with particular reference to development of Omani workforce.
Extending full support for Implementation of ISO 9001:2000 System as an integral part of
operations. Coordination with Quality Manager regarding implementation and continual
improvement of quality system.
Providing technical guidance and supervision on specific jobs.
Identifying training needs in consultation with General Manager and sponsoring
candidates for training courses. Liaising with Quality Manager regarding the training
programs and development of all workforce including Omani workforce.
