• Should have performed control and safety valve sizing calculations.
• Should have performed metering system design to fiscal and custody standards involving analysis and flow computation.
• Should be able to produce detailed engineering deliverables related to instrumentation discipline for all major upstream facilities such as production wells, main pad satellite pad etc. Mid Stream facilities such as booster stations, remote degassing stations, collection centres etc. AND Down Stream facilities such as refineries, compressor stations etc.
• Should demonstrate Control system design such as DCS, PLC.
• ESD system design, Safety system engineering and design based on DCS and Scada technology.
• Should demonstrate good experiences by attending and if necessary by conducting inter discipline meetings.
• Responsible for design, specification and services related to control systems including basic process control systems, safety systems, control panels, analyzer systems, telecommunications, field instrumentation, and valves etc.
• Should be able to review and approve assigned deliverables produced by other members of the team.
• Shall comply with the HSE requirements for the assigned project.
• Should plan and coordinate with the other engineers, designers and technical personnel to carry out the project work within the Quality Management System.
• Should provide technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers. Also should be responsible for leadership of a functional area on a small project or a segment of a larger project.
• As the lead, should independently plans, budgets, organizes, coordinates and controls the project and is responsible for employee performance appraisals and for coaching and developing lower level professionals.
