Budget responsibility:

MAIN PURPOSES
Oversee the implementation of the Quality management system over all phases of the project, encompassing
engineering, construction, commissioning and handover to operations

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

- Assist Quality Manager in developing and maintaining project management systems and organization suitable for the various phases of the project. The emphasis will be on communication and risk assessment implementing plans for verifications and independent project reviews at different levels in the organization.

- Define rules of external and internal communication based on common agreed plan of deliverables between Partners, Project Management Team and EPC package contractors

- Establish project procedures to ensure common understanding and uniform handling throughout the project organization:

- Ensure establishing of detailed procedures by line managers.

- The originators are responsible for supplementing and revise the procedures as appropriate during the project phases.

- Audit, monitor, assess and assist the Management team compliance with procedures and other governing, documents as well as contractor compliance their contract and their execution procedures (including sub-contractors).
Audit findings and non-conformance together with relevant actions proposed will be reported.

- The above necessitates full commitment and close contact and support from the project director. Participation in any internal management meeting with the major contractor as well as relevant external meeting is required.

Additional Information:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education - BS degree in Engineering plus minimum eight (8) years mechanical or welding engineering.
Experience of petrochemical or hydrocarbon facilities.
Excellent knowledge of applicable S Aramco and international standards.
Working knowledge of quality system standards and methods (ISO 9001).
Fluent command of the English language (spoken and written).
Good health and in excellent physical condition. .
Good working knowledge of standard PC workstation usage and basic M.S Office software applications.
