MAIN PURPOSES

To assist the Project Management by preparing and following engineering and specific dossiers

To remain within the agreed budget, schedule for completion and Statement of Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

- Coordinate of NHDT engineering

- Monitor and control Contractors achievements in accordance with contractual requirements in areas such as
safety, technical requirements, cost, planning etc

- Provide technical assistance and advice in developing and coordinating the required engineering studies

- Be constantly informed of all activities in the Engineering Department of the Project

- Help to coordinate the preparation of reporting on technical matters

- Assist and Keep informed the Senior Project Engineer

- Report and document any deviations, waivers and changes on unit design

- Coordinate and finalize all unit change orders

- Review and comment the plot plan, PIDs, HAZOP/SIL, safety, etc.

- Follow up on equipment fabrications

- Approve EPCC progress Invoicing.

- Provide weekly/monthly reports

Project Engineer could be involved in specific following or issues if required by his Project Manager/Sr. Project Engineer

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Has experience in the oil and/or gas or similar process industry and has project engineering experience on
large projects within speciality requested. Coordinates with engineering disciplines, lead engineers and/or task force groups to ensure on-time completion of work activities and the implementation of project control procedures. Reviews and closely monitors project schedule and costs. Must have through knowledge of project engineering practices, design details, international codes and standards, procedures and specifications.
