Job Description Identifies, negotiates and signs new Merchants for Card Acceptance.
• Ensures that all merchant staff are trained in the on Card Acceptance procedures and receives all relevant material
• Acts as the main contact for the Bank partners for the ATM & POS Acquiring business’ - Ensures that all requests for POS access to newly signed merchants are made according to the agreed Service Level Agreements
• Identifies and implements areas for cost saving potential with both external partners and internal processes.
• Handles market fraud cases working closely with the Fraud Dept, Legal, ES Operations and Finance. Ensures that all Merchant staff are fully trained to help identify and prevent potential fraudulent transactions.
• Maintains the overall relationship management for all key strategic partners and identifies and implements potential areas for growth.
• Handles Merchant disputes, enquiries, returned cheques, and follows-up on any debit balances,
• Ensures the timely distribution of the merchant payments and ensure collects manual charges,
• Identifies potential suppression and surcharge issues as well as rectifying reported cases to a satisfactory conclusion.
• Targets and secures relevant merchant exclusive offers from key partners within the market to help drive incremental spend and brand loyalty.
• Identify and negotiate with potential relevant local merchant partners to bring them into the Membership Rewards Programme to help drive spend and expand points redemption choices available to cardmember base.
