The main responsibilities of this role are:
New Business
• Establish a register of potential new clients and initiate contact and establish relationships.
• Visit potential clients in line with a pre-agreed schedule and sales call targets.
• Provide weekly reports on potential sales, market information, clients and leads.
• Implement guidelines / instructions from the Regional Sales Manager to achieve targets with higher operational efficiency.
• Follow-up with selected potential clients identified from the enquiry / order register, initiate contact, assess and confirm their requirements.
• Promptly respond to all enquiries / service related complaints.
• Provide technical specifications along with supporting documents (Brochures, Manuals, photos etc.) for the requested items.
• Close sales with clients, in line with approved margin and pricing policy.
• Liaise with the Production & Service Manager to ensure delivery commitments related to materials and services are correct and in line with the requirements of the customers.
• Liaise with the Regional Sales Manager to initiate the appropriate sales documentation and update the enquiry / order registers regularly.
• Develop new customers for spare parts business and Annual Maintenance contracts.
After Sales Services
• Follow up with all clients to ensure client satisfaction on products and service quality and prompt payment of accounts receivables.
• Prepare maintenance reports and submit to the clients periodically as required.
• Obtain and analyze client feedback and promptly act upon any dissatisfaction to initiate preventive action to resolve the complaint.
General
• Co-ordinate with Workshop, Stores and Commercial staff to keep minimum stock level for chemicals and components.
• Strive to achieve quality & Business objectives and ultimately Quality Policy.
• Work within the ISO9001:2008 quality system.
• Any other duties as may be agreed from time to time with the Managing Director.
• Complete all required documentation as per ISO Procedures
Accurate timely and effective communication with all clients, Regional Sales Manager, Sales Team and Workshop Manager is critical to the success of this role.
You will be working in a variety of environments, sometimes in environmentally controlled offices, also required to drive to client offices and sites.
